A Shower and a day off

Ok so I know that I'm suppossed to be at school today but I NEEDED a day off. I started getting REALLY cranky and snappy with my kids and I don't want to be like that with them. It had gotten to the point to where I could have made them cry with only my words. Because of that I decided that I would take today off and rest and relax. So far this is the only productive thing I have done all day and it feels pretty good. I guess I really needed the rest because I slept for 11 hours last night. I feel much better and more relaxed already and around 1:45 I will not know what to do with myself because I am going to get a prenatal massage. My wonderful husband got this for me as a Christmas present. Its going to be a good day.

Sunday was my shower at Alpine and it was AMAZING!!! I think I developed carpal tunnel from opening presents. (there were a lot) When we brought all the presents into Parker's room and laid them all out they were almost overwhelming to see. Steven and I feel so loved by Alpine and Daingerfield Church of Christ after that shower. We have just about every thing we need. I just want to say thank you for the great shower! Also, Jill thanks for not making it a Whinnie the Poo shower! I now vow to only give an appropriate amount of ring pops as presents to your son.

Here are some pictures from the shower and of Parker's room.

me and my mom and my mother in law mary sue (who hopefully Parker will call Big Momma)
Steven and I with all the presents
The presents before the massive unwrapping
This is just one side of Parker's room. There are more Presents on the other side.
Oh if anyone needs any gift bags for a baby shower I've got you covered. I have enough to last till the end of time.

Looks like you hit the mother load! Good for you for taking the day off, by the way. And good for Steven for thinking to get you a massage. Brownie points!!
